Recognizing the growing need for businesses to purchase and distribute audiobooks in bulk—for corporate learning, rewards, education, and team engagement—this project explores scalable solutions beyond single-user transactions.
Leveraging existing Amazon ecosystem architecture, we designed a fast, MVP-driven approach to enable efficient bulk content purchasing and distribution.
Proposed Solution
To unlock bulk audiobook purchasing for businesses, we took a strategic, systems-led approach by building on existing Amazon infrastructure rather than starting from scratch.
Inspired by Kindle’s ‘Buy for Others’ flow, we repurposed existing bulk purchasing capabilities and introduced a built-in distribution mechanism within the Amazon Business marketplace, enabling organizations to seamlessly purchase and distribute audiobooks at scale.
This approach not only accelerates time to market but also ensures a familiar, scalable, and intuitive experience for business users, while unlocking new revenue opportunities for Audible.
